Frequently Asked Questions

Who are we and what is our goal?

We are AI-Future-Force, a non-profit organization run by high school students in the Nordic countries who recognize the importance of AI for today's students and their futures. We understand that the ability to use AI will be critical in future careers, and we want to provide students with the opportunity to develop these skills now. Our aim is to help young people from all backgrounds find their own paths and interests through AI.

Who can participate?

All students who are enrolled in grade 4-9, or equivalent, are welcome to participate. Either teachers can register their students, or parents or legal guardians can register their children individually. No prior knowledge is required to join.

What does it cost to participate?

Nothing! We believe that AI and understanding it should be accessible to everyone, and no one should be excluded due to financial reasons.

How do I register for the competition?

If you are a teacher and wish to register your students for the AIFutureForce Competition, please click on "Teacher Registration". Parents or legal guardians may also register their children individually via the "Student Registration" form.

The registration deadline for the Fall Competition is October 18.

How do I submit my competition entry/entries?

Both teachers, students, and those who registered for the competition individually submit their entries through the "Submission Portal".

The submission deadline for the Fall Competition is November 22.

Which AI programs can students use?

It's entirely up to the students. An important aspect of using AI is finding suitable programs, so students have the opportunity to try out different options. We understand that some programs require login or payment, and each teacher or school can decide what's appropriate. Upon registration, we provide examples of free programs to test for the different categories.

How are the entries assessed?

We assess entries based on creativity, innovation, and how students use nuanced and developed AI prompts to create their entries. Most importantly, we encourage students to explore and bring their imaginations to life through AI!

What can you win?

All participants will receive an exclusive certificate of participation. Trophies are awarded to the winners in each category, and the best class as a whole will receive a special award.

How are the winners announced?

Emails will be sent to all participants with information about the winners, and the results will also be published on our website. Previous winners have also had the opportunity to be interviewed by media.

How can you as a teacher ensure that students use AI ethically and safely?

The most important thing is knowledge and understanding. Discuss AI with your students in the classroom. We have created a presentation to guide you, covering various aspects of AI, which will be provided upon registration.
